Das Projekt Galou wurde von uns, Abdoul Baldé und Stamatia Riedweg Baldé, 2016 in Zürich gegründet. Wir sind aus Guinea und der Schweiz. Wir können unsere Erfahrungen und Erkenntnisse aus beiden Ländern gezielt einsetzen.

Abdoul: „Ich besuchte nicht sehr lange die Schule und ich weiss wie es ist, wenn einem als Kind die Schule verwehrt bleibt und das Lesen und Schreiben eine Herausforderung bedeutet. Ich weiss, wie es ist, ohne Schulbildung aufzuwachsen.

Während unserer Weltreise habe ich viel gesehen und konnte viele Erfahrungen sammeln und mein Kopf ist voller Ideen. Seit da ist mein Wunsch noch stärker, die Menschen aus meiner Heimat zu unterstützen und der Gemeinschaft etwas zurückzugeben.“

Strassen verbinden Menschen.
Mit Deinem Fachwissen im Strassenbau kannst Du uns zum Beispiel als Volunteer helfen. Du kannst uns auch mit einer Spende unterstützen, damit wir die Strassen ausbauen und die Anbindung in abgelegene Dörfer in der Region Fouta Djallon verbessern können.
